Figured Hormigo Live Edge Lumber

This incredibly beautiful Central American lumber has rich reddish-brown colors. Hormigo is hard and dense, machining well with sharp tools. The high polish that is possible when working with Hormigo makes it very desirable for woodworking. Live edge boards are ideal for charcuterie boards, cutting boards, jewelry boxes, and other fine woodworking articles. Live edges may contain minor checks. Boards over 36" may have a slight 1/8" bow or twist. This lumber is kiln dried and has been surfaced on two sides. A minor end or edge check may be present. This piece has inclusions.
