Extra Fancy Katalox Lumber

This beautiful Katalox wood has been kiln dried and is surfaced on two sides. A rough edge or minor end/surface check may be present. Pin holes may be present in the sapwood. This unique hardwood is ideal for shelves or resin filled epoxy tables, but can be used for just about any woodworking project your creativity dictates! Katalox is an excellent substitute for African Ebony in stringed instruments. Over several years Katalox ages to a dark purple/black. This piece has inclusions, checks, and rough patches.
