Figured Hawaiian Koa Instrument Lumber

This vintage Hawaiian Koa lumber has warm, rich colors with unrivaled iridescence and curl. An occasional bug hole or check may be present. Some pieces may have pin holes in the sapwood or a 1/16" to 1/8" bow/twist that will lay flat with minimal pressure. This wonderful Koa is kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and is ready to use. Beautiful curly figure will vary from piece to piece. This is some of the finest color and figure we’ve seen in years. It was saved from a stash that was cut in 1986. This Koa is a rare treasure!
