Figured Red Gum Bowl Blank (8" x 8" x 3")

INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Australian Red River Gum has light pink to red colors. Pieces generally have figure on the quarter sawn faces or edges.This dense wood is freshly, completely wax sealed, and contains residual moisture. Twice turning is recommended. Please take care to cover the partially turned blank until it dries. Store this wood in a cool, dry location. Checks and some shrinkage can develop as the wood dries. An occasional rough or live edge or minor check may be present. Sizes may vary by +/- 1/8".
