Collection: Red Ironbark

Red Ironbark, Eucalyptus sideroxylon, is an extremely durable hardwood from eastern Australia. Also known as Mugga, Red Ironbark has very dense, interlocked grain with fine texture. The wood color is reddish with sapwood that is nearly white. The bark when present is deep red with black. Ironbark will take a very high natural polish when finished. This species is ideal for furniture, woodturning, and boxes, but can be utilized for many woodworking applications.
